No surprises

• It's not a 3-in-1: there's no tape measure. It measures with the laser, from the device to the surface you point at.
• No electronic level: it can't check whether something is straight, it only measures distances.
• Units: it shows measurements in metres; switching to other units isn't specified.
• Battery: the manufacturer doesn't state the capacity or charging time. No power adapter is included either, just the cable.
• Class 2 laser: don't point it at people's or animals' eyes and don't look directly into the beam. Keep it out of reach of children: it's not a toy.

FAQ

Is it complicated to use?
Not at all. It has one button to measure, another (F/R) to change function and another to switch off. To measure a distance, just point and press.

Does it replace a regular tape measure?
For measuring walls, rooms or ceilings it saves you fighting the tape and you don't need anyone to hold the other end. But it has no tape, so it needs a surface to point the laser at.

How long does the battery last?
According to the manufacturer, up to 8,000 measurements per full charge. Battery capacity and charging time aren't specified.

How do I charge it?
With the USB cable in the box, plugged into a USB charger. The power adapter isn't included.

Does it have a level for hanging pictures straight?
No, it has no electronic level. It's a distance, area and volume meter.
